Current Forex News
    FX clients can now access streaming market news, technical levels, and FX commentary via the FX trading platform 24-hours a day. IFR Forex Watch, Thomson Financial’spremier institutional FX news and analysis service, provides the real-time content for this service.
    FX News is not a delayed or abridged version of Thomson Financial ’s IFR Forex Watch, but the complete product suite. 
    Downloading Instructions 

                                  The FX News Plug – In works in conjunction with the trading platform. If you have not already done so, you will need to have the FX Trading Platform downloaded on your computer. However, you cannot download The FX News Plug-In while the trading platform is open. So before you begin, please close down the trading platform. 

          1. Click on the image to download the plug-in feature. 
            2. Check “Save this Program to Disk” and click “OK"
            3. Save the program  onto your desktop. 
            4. Once download is complete, click on "Open."
                  (If  Open is not available go to the desktop where you saved 
                   the  file and double click on the setupnews.exe icon). 
            5. Follow the install. instructions using the default settings.
            6. When the installation is complete, you can log back onto the 
                Trade Station
                 You will now have a “News” button on the top menu.


    FX News includes the following features: 

                              Squawk Box
                              24 hour Scrolling Headlines with all the latest forex news and commentary.  This section is made of short paragraph sized blurbs that are updated about 5 to 8 times an hour keeping you updated on the latest moves in the markets.  This is the most  popular feature of the news service as its instant, live, and  tradeable information.
                          Orders Board
                              This is a whispers and rumors section on what big global Foreign exchange customers (major hedge funds and fortune  500 companies) are buying and selling, where are their stops, etc. 
                           Daily Features
                              A great place to go before you trade. The daily features section features focused reports for the opening of each of the trading  sessions; North American , European and Asian. Reports  include a synopsis of the previous sessions activities as well  as what developments to watch for in the current session.  This  is a must read for all traders before they settle in to trade and  helps you know what to look for on the squak box section. 
                           Tech Levels & Analysis
                              Specific support and resistance levels in 13 currency pairs with accompanying commentary.  Includes multiple layers of  support/resistance, fibbonachi retracement levels, moving averages, and RSI.  No charts to read just all the levels already laid out. 
                          Trading Outlook 
                              Offers commentary focused on 7 specific currencies (including Yen, Euro, Swiss Franc, and the British Pound) and their movements versus other major currencies. If you are interested in finding out how Yen is trading against the other  major currencies and what is impacting its movement this is  the place to go. 
                              Options 
                              Comprehensive options section includes market commentary with trading activity, trading levels, and interests that are driving the market. The options area also contains a strategy section,  implied as well as historic volatility levels, and risk reversal  pricing. 
                              Economics/Central banks 
                              Offers a comprehensive global calendar of all economic numbers that are coming out around the world. A daily planner of what number to anticipate, and events to keep in mind.  An enormous data bank of information on the major as central banks of the US, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.  This data includes interest rate outlooks, analysis of economic numbers vis a vis interest rate decisions, lists decision makers, meeting dates, and much more. 
                              M&A Flows 
                              Track the market moving flow of funds around the globe that results from merger activity for clues as to which economies are hot, which are cold and which to watch out for.  This is an indicator watched by many institutional investors. 
                              Daily and Weekly Trading Strategy Reports 
                              These extensive reports cover the market from both a technical and fundamental level, and are both a trading outlook for all the  major currencies and a good synopsis on the market.  They  also contain a trading strategy with exact entry/exit levels as well as stops, limits, etc. 
                              FX News is available as an integrated piece of the FX Trading Station platform. With one click of the mouse, clients can access FX News. No additional login is necessary. The window in which FX News appears is adjustable, enabling the  simultaneous viewing of  live prices and real-time news. There is no cost to FX clients for this service. Trials are available for Demo-accounts.
